Dr. Travis Hulbert

Dr. Travis Hulbert was born and raised in Cedar, IA. He is the son of Dan and Diane Hulbert and has one sister, Jessica. Growing up in the Hulbert household has had a major influence on who Dr. Hulbert is today as a professional. He watched his father work hard and earn the position of management while also starting his own business. Since grade school, Dr. Hulbert's parents have been active in foster care and housed more than 75 foster children.

Dr. Hulbert's upbringing has helped form his personality which has carried over into his professional career. He can best be described as a compassionate chiropractor who places the needs of his patients first. He strives for excellence and works diligently to achieve the results desired by both himself and the patient. Optimal health is the ultimate goal he seeks for each of his patients. Communication, observation and education are key factors in forming individual treatment plans.

Dr. Travis Hulbert attended the University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, IA) where he received his bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Hulbert received a second bachelors degree in human biology and his doctorate of chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, IL) in 2008.

While attending National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Hulbert had the privilege of working as a chiropractic and rehabilitation assistant at Complete Rehabilitation (La Grange, IL) for Dr. Michael Pinckney. While there he was able to learn the most current rehabilitative therapies.

In addition to working at Complete Rehabilitation, Dr. Hulbert occupied his time lobbying for chiropractic to senators and representatives in Washington, D.C. as the Legislative Representative for SACA (Student American Chiropractic Association). He was also an active member of the Christian Chiropractic Association and fellow of the Chiropractic Department for five consecutive trimesters. He was President of Sigma Phi Kappa where he organized meetings, functions and community service activities.

In 2008, Dr. Hulbert moved to Bloomington, IN where he joined Dr. Bentley at Quest Chiropractic. This move gave Dr. Hulbert the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Bentley and study functional medicine, a new and upcoming form of holistic centered patient care. In March of 2009, Dr. Hulbert became the owner of Quest Chiropractic where he is currently practicing chiropractic, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and functional medicine allowing Dr. Bentley to focus on teaching and writing. Dr. Hulbert continues the same philosophy about chiropractic and patient care. Ashley and Shelly (office staff) have chosen to continue assisting Dr. Hulbert meet the health needs in south central Indiana.

Dr. Hulbert has been married to his wife Katie, a massage therapist, since April 26, 2008. Since moving to Bloomington, he has become a regular attendee at Evangelical Community Church (ECC). Dr. Hulbert has enjoyed getting to know the residents of Southern Indiana while expanding his family and his practice. In his spare time Dr. Hulbert enjoys spending time with his wife and son (Teigen), playing golf and exercising. Dr. Hulbert serves as a volunteer chiropractor for Volunteers in Medicine, a free medical clinic serving low-income Monroe and Owen county residents without health insurance.

Dr. Hulbert is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Indiana State Chiropractic Association, Christian Chiropractic Association, the Wellness Prescription and Personal Injury Corrective Care.
